Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking Test Engineers at Level 2 or Level 3 at its West Texas Van Horn site to support and lead hypergolic rocket engine and component tests. You will plan, execute, analyze data, and refine test procedures in a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and reliability.

Level 2 emphasizes developing leadership and executing tests with guidance, whereas Level 3 focuses on ownership of campaigns, mentoring juniors, and coordinating cross-functional safety and process

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering required for Level 2; MS may be preferred for Level 3.
• Experience in a testing environment and ability to read engineering standards, requirements, and drawings.
• Strong data analysis, written and verbal communication skills; ability to act under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead daily test operations and execute test procedures.
• Participate in test readiness reviews and data reviews.
• Develop and update test procedures and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot fluid systems and test support equipment.
• Lead or contribute to root cause analyses and corrective actions.
