Job summary

Honeybee Robotics, part of the Blue Origin family, seeks a Test Engineer III to support a vertically integrated environmental test lab in Southern California. You will lead test planning and execution for vibration, thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC, and other tests on flight hardware, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in hardware testing, with relocation provided and up to 10–15% travel to external sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hardware testing experience on mechanical or electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive qualification and acceptance test programs for complex space mechanisms and electromechanical systems.
• Author, review, and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Coordinate with design, systems, and quality engineers to ensure test requirements are allocated and verified.
• Operate and maintain test laboratory equipment and data acquisition systems.
