Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Renton, WA is seeking engineers to design, build, and certify VTBs and avionics emulators for lunar vehicle testing. You will upgrade HIL infrastructure and maintain harnesses while coordinating with vehicle teams to define tests and verify performance.

The role requires hands-on work on-site, strong problem-solving, and experience with avionics integration and configuration management to support safe spaceflight objectives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience with avionics systems integration and verification.
• Proficiency with standard electronic lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters, data acquisition cards).
• Strong understanding of configuration management principles.
• Ability to earn trust and maintain professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design, architecture, procurement, build, integration, and certification of VTBs and avionics emulators.
• Assess and upgrade HIL/VTB infrastructure to meet evolving requirements.
• Maintain harness diagrams and ensure configuration control throughout lifecycle.
• Coordinate with vehicle teams to define test requirements and execute system tests.
• Support avionics checkout and problem resolution, ensuring system performance.
