Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Supplier Quality professional to develop and execute supplier quality processes for the design, test, and manufacture of launch vehicles and related technologies. Based in Kent, WA, you will lead supplier quality activities, audits, and corrective actions to ensure safe, reliable spaceflight components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering/tech or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in aerospace manufacturing with at least 2 years in supplier quality.
• Travel up to 50% and valid driver’s license required.
• QA experience in aerospace production including AS9100 requirements and auditing techniques.
• Self-initiation and excellent time management; ability to stay connected with leadership and customers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate supplier quality and technical capability.
• Lead suppliers through corrective actions and recovery plans.
• Support quality improvement and nonconformance reduction activities with suppliers.
• Communicate supplier performance to senior management.
• Participate in supplier pre-ship reviews, audits, hardware acceptance and corrective actions.
