Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or manufacturing processes.
• 10+ years of quality experience.
• 5+ years in satellite manufacturing.
• AS9100/AS9120 auditing experience.
• Experience with electronic components.
• Travel up to 50% and valid driver's license.
• IPC Class 3 standards knowledge.
• Ability to work with leadership and remote stakeholders.
• U.S. citizen or eligible for U.S. employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify current and potential suppliers of electronic and satellite components.
• Lead suppliers through discrepancies, including corrective and preventive actions as well as recovery plans.
• Support program reviews with key suppliers to ensure understanding of long-term business objectives.
• Communicate supplier performance to senior management.
• Participate in supplier quality audits, hardware acceptance and corrective actions.
• Onboarding and qualify new suppliers.
• Drive nonconformance reduction through root cause analysis and corrective action
