Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a senior Supplier Quality professional to lead the evaluation and qualification of suppliers for electronic and satellite components. You will drive corrective actions, support program reviews, and communicate performance to senior management in a global aerospace environment.

The role requires extensive experience in satellite manufacturing, AS9100/AS9120 auditing, IPC Class 3 standards, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or manufacturing processes.
• 10+ years’ industry experience in Quality.
• 5+ years specific to satellite manufacturing.
• AS9100/AS9120 auditing experience.
• IPC Class 3 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify current and potential suppliers of electronic and satellite components.
• Lead suppliers through resolving discrepancies, including corrective and preventive actions as well as recovery plans.
• Support program reviews with key suppliers to ensure understanding of long-term business objectives.
• Communicate supplier performance to senior management.
• Participate in supplier quality audits, hardware acceptance and corrective actions.
• Onboarding and qualify new suppliers.
• Drive nonconformance reduction through root cause analysis and corrective action.
