Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking engineers for mechanical/structural roles across multiple sites in the United States. You will work on design, analysis and testing of mechanical systems and propulsion, integrating materials, manufacturing, and systems engineering.

Roles support development and flight hardware with opportunities across Seattle, Huntsville, Cape Canaveral, Denver and Los Angeles. Applicants should have a BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering, plus hands-on internship experience; MS

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• Basic proficiency in 3D CAD programs including Creo Pro/E.
• Fundamentals of design: requirements, materials, interfaces, forms, environments.
• Basic strength and mechanics of materials understanding.
• Basic structural analysis and Free-body diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and test mechanical systems, propulsion and structures.
• Integrate materials, processes, manufacturing, test and systems engineering.
• Participate in full design cycle from requirements to qualification.
• Assist in assembly and testing of development and flight hardware.
