Blue Origin LLC is seeking early-career engineers to join diverse software teams in Kent, WA, starting Fall 2027. You will help design, implement, test, and maintain software for aerospace applications and real-time systems, collaborating across hardware, software, and operations teams.

You will contribute to requirements analysis, coding, and DevOps practices while growing your skills in Java, C++, Python, and web technologies in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
• Degree earned within last year with ability to start Fall 2027
• Experience with modern OO languages and data structures/algorithms
• Familiarity with Git and DevOps practices
• Strong problem solving and independent as well as team work skills
• Willingness to work in a safety‑mocused aerospace environment
• Experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructures (AWS) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to maintenance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design scalable solutions
• Troubleshoot and fix software issues across server and client sides
• Contribute to DevOps practices and data-driven decision making
