Job summary

Blue Origin seeks early-career engineers to contribute to software development across the lifecycle. You will work on requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to accelerate vehicle development and operations.

Ideal candidates have a BS in CS/CE/EE or related field, completed within the last year, and hands-on experience with OO languages, data structures, and algorithms.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/CE/EE or related field, recent graduate.
• Proficiency with modern OO languages (Java, C#, C++, Python).
• Fundamentals in data structures and algorithms; ability to write efficient code.
• Experience with git and software development lifecycles.
• Internship/co‑op and leadership experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, maintenance.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to accelerate vehicle development, testing, and operations.
• Troubleshoot and fix software issues on server and client sides.
• Collaborate with teams to understand needs and design scalable solutions.
