Job summary

Axiom Space seeks a bold, high-energy Agile Project Manager for spaceflight programs. You will lead hardware and software development projects from concept through delivery, working onsite at our Space Station Development Facility.

The role demands strong scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional coordination with engineers and product managers. You will establish baselines, drive IMS fidelity, and ensure alignment with integration teams while proactively mitigating risks to milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, business, project management, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in program/project management or related roles.
Experience managing large, complex programs with multiple workstreams and dependencies.
Experience in agile environments and scheduling.
PM principles or related coursework/certification.
Proficiency with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira) and reporting dashboards (Power BI).

Responsibilities

Develop project plans and planning products linking PBS, OBS, WBS, and Risk Register.
Establish schedule, cost, resource, and scope baselines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product managers to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
Ensure integrated schedule creation and fidelity at product, system, and module levels.
Communicate progress, status, and risks to senior project management.
Navigate from concept to delivery with engineering.
Identify and mitigate risks to timelines.
Align with program integration on portfolio status.
Drive standards for system and tactical implementation.
Track realization of strategic benefits.
