Blue Origin, a leader in space technology, seeks a skilled supply chain professional to support production planning and materials management for space launch programs.

You will coordinate schedules, manage material availability, and partner with procurement, quality, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery and efficient factory operations. This hands-on role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supply chain experience.
• Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
• Experience with activities related to planning and/or scheduling.
• Experience working with a cross functional team.
• Excellent written /verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrates understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen concepts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing schedule and coordinate the availability and flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Performs shop order release/closure in MRP System and reconciles parts.
• Provide detailed status of work in progress, material availability, and communicate constraints to schedule.
• Prepare work orders for production of parts based on master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activity with warehouse, inspection, quality, operations, purchasing, engineering, logistics and program.
• Schedule and expedite movement of parts by move orders, stock transfers and shipping requests.
• Work cross-functionally to expedite material shortages with procurement, receiving, quality, and other production areas.
