Job summary

Barrios Technology is seeking a Spaceflight Power Delivery Hardware Project Manager to lead end-to-end development, manufacturing, testing, certification, and sustaining engineering of spaceflight hardware for government programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, establish baselines, and report on cost and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a related master’s degree preferred and 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost estimating.
• Experience with NASA/JSC flight hardware processing for spaceflight.
• Experience with NASA/JSC Class I flight hardware process and certification.
• Experience with hardware anomaly troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a government background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial reports that monitor cost performance against plans.
• Oversee and develop procedures, work instructions and process flow.
• Interface with NASA managers and customers to deliver up-to-date project performance.
• Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical and electrical failures.
• Coordinate and support flight hardware products through design, procurement, fabrication, test, data analysis, certification, and flight delivery.
