Job summary

Barrios Technology Ltd. seeks a Spaceflight Battery Hardware Project Engineer to join the team supporting NASA Johnson Space Center and Barrios. You will provide design and test support across development, verification, and documentation tasks for spaceflight battery hardware.

The role requires collaboration with project teams, development of test procedures, and hands-on testing of flight hardware in a lab setting. Willingness to work extended hours as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Familiar with electrical components and systems.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Self-motivated, team player with adaptability to a dynamic environment.
• Ability to operate in a laboratory environment and perform troubleshooting tasks.
• Ability to prepare written documents and verbally present at meetings.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and test support for Johnson Space Center Engineering Directorate.
• Develop test procedures and verification/validation processes.
• Perform testing and verification of flight hardware.
• Maintain baseline test configurations and document changes.
• Create Task Performance Sheets, Discrepancy Reports, and Detailed Test Procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams and managers to resolve roadblocks.
