Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to own electrical integration and testing for spacecraft in the HIL lab. You will validate subsystems, help develop EGSE, and participate in launch operations with cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on testing spacecraft electrical systems, developing test infrastructure, and coordinating across design engineers to ensure successful campaigns. A strong safety mindset and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

  • BS in a technical field as listed above.
  • 3+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
  • Experience testing aerospace flight hardware (NASA/Commercial Space/DoD).
  • Experience with flight hardware in production or lab settings.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and standards; data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, architect, and coordinate resources to test spacecraft electrical systems.
  • Test spacecraft hardware and integrated systems in the HIL environment.
  • Conduct design, readiness, and test readiness reviews for events.
  • Coordinate with design engineers to execute risk reduction and verification runs.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.
