Job summary

Aegis Aerospace has an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test electrical hardware for spaceflight projects in Webster, Texas. The role spans the full lifecycle fromrequirements through verification and flight hardware readiness.

The position is a 2-year contract with a fixed 29-hour weekly schedule: onsite Monday–Wednesday in Webster, with Thursday remote work. Competitive hourly pay and 401(k) eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in spaceflight/aerospace/high-reliability equipment.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident capable of background check.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into electrical hardware requirements.
• Design electrical circuits, PCBs, interfaces and supporting hardware.
• Develop and maintain electrical hardware specifications and drawings.
• Plan and execute verification and validation activities to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, software, manufacturing, quality, and other disciplines.
