Job summary

Aegis Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design, build, and test PCB electronics for spaceflight hardware in Webster, Texas. You will participate in the full hardware lifecycle and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to meet mission requirements.

The role focuses on analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics, with responsibilities spanning schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM maintenance, and design verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on PCB design experience.
• Proficient with Altium Designer or ECAD for schematic capture and PCB design.
• Experience with analog, digital, mixed-signal, or embedded circuits.
• Experience evaluating components based on performance, reliability, and enviro considerations.
• Experience supporting PCBs through fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Ability to read and review schematics, drawings, and manufacturing docs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Webster, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and embedded circuits for spaceflight hardware.
• Develop schematics and PCB designs using Altium Designer.
• Select processors, MCUs, ICs, sensors, ADCs, op-amps, power modules and connectors.
• Maintain BOMs, electrical drawings, and design documentation.
• Support PCB layout, DRC, fabrication release, and manufacturing docs.
• Coordinate PCB procurement, fabrication, assembly, and inspection.
• Perform board bring-up, testing, and design verification.
