Job summary

Aegis Aerospace in Webster, Texas, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test electrical hardware for spaceflight programs. You will guide hardware from requirements through verification, working with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

The role requires hands-on engineering, precise documentation, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure designs meet size, weight, power, and cost targets for complex spaceflight

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering for spaceflight or high-reliability equipment.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident able to pass a background check.
• Experience with circuit design, schematic development, and PCB design.
• Hands-on lab experience using test equipment and instrumentation.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Interpret system and interface requirements and translate into electrical hardware requirements.
• Design electrical circuits, PCBs, interfaces, and supporting hardware.
• Perform verification, validation, and testing to meet requirements.
• Develop and maintain electrical specifications, schematics, and drawings.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems teams throughout the lifecycle.
