Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced avionics hardware engineer to develop boards and assemblies for spaceflight systems, supporting the full life-cycle from concept through production release.

Applicants should have 7+ years in electronics hardware, hands-on aerospace experience, and strong skills in analog/digital/mixed-signal design, testing, and layout. Base pay reflects WA region and company-wide safety culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electronics hardware development experience.
• Hands-on experience with aerospace electronic assemblies (custom cards or COTS integration).
• Experience with analog, digital and mixed-signal analysis, design, test, and board layout.

Responsibilities

• Develop avionics hardware (boards and assemblies).
• Oversee product life-cycle from concept to production release.
• Design analog and digital boards interfacing with sensors and actuators; include layout and verification.
• Support architecture trades, performance characterization, and device selection.
• Contribute to risk analyses, DFx, and root-cause analysis of test discrepancies.
