Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics PCB Layout Engineer to design high‑reliability PCBs for aerospace applications and to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams. You will develop detailed schematics, perform high‑speed layout, and contribute to DFx processes with Altium and industry tools.

A strong focus on safety and quality is required. You will mentor layout resources, contribute to design reviews, and help maintain eCAD libraries while supporting the Blue Moon

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in PCB layout and design.
• BS in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of digital, analog, mixed-signal, high-speed layout and design.
• Experience with Allegro, Altium Designer, Eagle PCB or Proteus.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout high-performance PCBs for aerospace applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design requirements.
• Create schematics and layouts using Altium or similar tools.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain PCB libraries and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers on PCB layout best practices.
