Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking a PCB Design Engineer III to contribute to avionics hardware development for the New Glenn program. You will design analog and digital boards, perform schematic capture, layout, verification, and release to production.

The role requires 5+ years of hardware development experience and proficiency with Altium or Cadence tools, with a disciplined approach to reliability and safety in aerospace environments.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of hardware development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with analog, digital and mixed-signal boards for aerospace or commercial applications.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; familiarity with aerospace development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop avionics hardware (boards and integrated assemblies).
  • Develop analog and digital boards that interact with avionics systems; including schematic capture, layout, testing and release to production.
  • Support trades studies, risk analyses, and design-for-test/for-manufacture activities.
  • Participate in program-level technology development and safety initiatives.
