Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Sr. Structures Design Engineer to lead the design and development of spacecraft structures and secondary supports. You will work with a small design team as the senior engineer, maintaining schedules and generating drawings using Creo.

The role involves overseeing integration of subcontracted hardware, guiding cross-disciplinary teams, and driving process improvements. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident per policy.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) or related field.
• 5 years of experience including part and subassembly modeling in Creo or similar CAD and drawing generation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop spacecraft structures and secondary supports.
• Generate drawings and models with Creo and other design tools.
• Oversee integration of subcontracted hardware into spacecraft systems.
• Lead and participate in cross-disciplinary teams and meetings with customers/vendors.
