The role involves assisting engineers with mechanical assembly, harnessing, and integration of space hardware, under a 9/80 work schedule.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with 4–6 years of related experience and active SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years related experience.
• Willing to work any shift and extended work weeks as required.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge in mechanical assembly and harnessing with attention to detail.
• Hands-on knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Requires SCI clearance at time of application.
• Level 4 requires 6 years related experience and similar capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanical engineers in development, assembly and integration of Space Vehicle components and systems.
• Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified components or assemblies.
• Contribute to sub-system and system test methodology development.
• Set up and test prototype and flight units and sub-assemblies under operational conditions.
