Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician (Level 2/3) to assist engineers in the development, assembly and integration of Space Vehicle systems. The role involves fabricating components, setting up tests, and supporting prototype hardware in a space-focused environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or higher, with 2–4 years of related experience, hands-on tool use, and the ability to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Willing to work any shift and cover extended work weeks as required.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge in manufacturing operations and procedures as it pertains to mechanical assembly, harnessing with a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development, assembly and integration of space vehicle mechanical and electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified components or assemblies.
• Support sub-system and system test methodology and prototype testing under operational conditions.
