Job summary

nLogic seeks a Spacecraft Subsystem SME to lead engineering, integration, and test activities for MILSATCOM programs in El Segundo, CA. You will collaborate with government customers and contractors to validate designs and ensure mission requirements across the system lifecycle.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, subsystem design trades, and coordination across space vehicle, ground, and terminal segments, with an on-site requirement at LAAFB and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field (engineering, mathematics, physics, software, or CS).
• 15 years of experience with spacecraft bus or subsystems, or 12 years with a Master’s.
• Current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance.
• On-site work at Los Angeles AFB; remote work not allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for spacecraft subsystems and testing.
• Lead trades for unit/subsystem designs and integration with spacecraft bus and ground segments.
• Ensure interfaces and survivability across space vehicle and ground components.
