Job summary

The Boeing Company in Springfield, VA is seeking a Mid Level Spacecraft Operations Systems Engineer to join the team. You will lead spacecraft operations, mission planning, telemetry monitoring, and anomaly recovery to ensure mission success.

This 100% onsite role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, 5+ years of experience, and an active U.S. Secret Clearance. Training and certification programs will be provided; rotating 12-hour shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Typically, 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience in engineering management or technical lead role.
• Experience working on satellite ground/spacecraft systems.
• Willing to complete a certification program and rotate 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of spacecraft operations, mission planning and monitoring telemetry.
• Coordinate with management and peers to ensure high quality operational products and logs.
• Analyze data, verify system configurations against constraints and requirements.
• Mentor trainees to complete training and certification.
