Job summary

Blue Origin in Reston, VA or Denver, CO is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer to help build and operate the Blue Ring space-mobility platform. You will collaborate across space and ground segments to ensure readiness and flawless execution of on-orbit flight operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in spacecraft operations, a systems mindset, and strong end-user focus. US citizen or eligible status required; occasional shift work up to 20% is expected from Blue Origin's mission control

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical, Systems, or related fields.
• 3+ years of proven spacecraft operations development and execution experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mission planning, ops concepts, tools, and processes for real-time spacecraft and ground operations.
• Develop detailed operations procedures, executables, telemetry displays, and technical documentation.
• Provide on‑console support during launch and early orbit phases; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
