Job summary

Boeing in Seal Beach, CA is seeking a Senior/Experienced Systems Engineer to join the Space Mission Systems organization. The role involves requirements analysis, system integration, test, and verification for space-focused programs on multiple sites based on program needs.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership in verification, test planning, and working within a Scaled Agile environment. On-site work is required with occasional relocation considerations for other US sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement
• Typically 5+ years relevant work experience (Level 3)
• Active Top Secret US Security Clearance (TS) or equivalent/Continuous Vetting participation within past 5 years

Responsibilities

• Leads Ground and System Level verification, validation, integration and test
• Leads planning, organization, implementation of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity and technology readiness
• Develops and executes test plans, procedures, and verification reports
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues
• Evaluates customer/operational needs to test system performance requirements, integrate parameters and assure compatibility of interfaces
• Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability and other quality factors into a preferred configuration
• Develops Ground Segment Operational Products in support of Space based systems
• Supports complex system level threads required to run missions in space
• Works with a team of engineers using scaled agile development process
