Job summary

Voyager Lunar Systems is seeking a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer to support planning, execution, and documentation of integration and validation for spacecraft components, rovers, and lunar infrastructure.

You will work with Design, Systems, and Test Engineers across propulsion, thermal, mechanisms, electrical, and structural teams to ensure readiness of facilities and to write detailed integration and test procedures.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience integrating or testing electro‑mechanical and/or fluid systems.
• Experience with technical writing and planning.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and lifecycle tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support DFMA and DFT reviews during design phases.
• Develop Test Plans with Systems and Design Engineers.
• Create Assembly Drawings with Design Engineers.
• Write detailed Integration and Test Procedures.
• Ensure readiness of parts, tooling, and calibration for tests.
• Design ground support equipment and fixtures for integration and testing.
• Attend Integration and Test Readiness Reviews and execute procedures.
• Operate test facilities (e.g., shaker tables, thermal vacuum chambers).
• Collaborate with technicians and cross‑functional teams across propulsion, thermal, mechanisms, electrical, and structures.
