Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pittsburgh, US, is seeking a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer to lead integration and validation of spacecraft components and systems, from DFMA/DFT perspectives to test execution on ground facilities.

The role collaborates with design and propulsion teams, writes integration and test procedures, and coordinates off-site testing. A BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years in electro-mechanical testing is required; MS is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience with integrating or testing electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in CAD and lifecycle tools; SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support DFMA and DFPT for design reviews and approvals.
• Develop Test Plans with Systems and Design Engineers.
• Write Integration Procedures and Test Procedures with detail.
• Coordinate readiness of parts, tooling, and lab resources for tests.
• Process Test Data and write Test Reports.
• Collaborate with propulsion, thermal, mechanisms, electrical, and structural teams.
