Job summary

Voyager Lunar Systems is seeking a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer to support planning, execution, and documentation of integration and validation of mechanical components and systems for spacecraft, rovers, and lunar infrastructure.

The role involves DFMA/DFT reviews, test plan development, procedure writing, and hands-on testing with facilities like shaker tables and vacuum chambers. Strong CAD skills and 5+ years of electro-mechanical experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering as stated.
• 1</br>
• 5+ years of experience in integrating or testing electro-mechanical systems.
• 1</br>
• Experience with technical writing and planning.
• 1</br>
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and lifecycle tools.
• 1</br>
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization.
• 1</br>
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support design reviews from DFMA and DFT perspectives.
• Develop Test Plans with Systems and Design Engineers.
• Develop Assembly Drawings with Design Engineers.
• Write Integration and Test Procedures.
• Ensure readiness of parts, tools, and scheduling.
• Design ground support equipment and fixtures.
• Hold Integration and Test Readiness Reviews.
• Execute integration and test procedures.
• Operate Shaker Tables and Thermal Vacuum Chambers.
• Support off-site testing at third party facilities.
• Process Test Data and write Test Reports.
• Provide labor and cost estimates for integration and test work.
• Collaborate to understand test results with engineers.
