Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to support development, testing, and operation of lunar landers and space systems. You will guide systems engineering activities, provide technical leadership, and work with partners to ensure mission success.

The role reports to the Systems Engineering Manager and may lead a program's systems engineering team. Relevant experience across multiple space systems is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant space mission experience; advanced degrees may substitute.
• Experience across multiple systems engineering disciplines and mission environments.
• Ability to lead or support a systems engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design development for a lunar lander or space-based system.
• Manage concepts of operations, requirements, design configuration, technical budgets, launch vehicle requirements, fault management, interface control, V&V planning, and risk.
• Provide technical guidance to system and subsystem engineering teams.
• Collaborate with the systems engineering team, Mission Director, and partners/customers.
• Support technical definitions, interface/control documents, integration and operation plans.
• Serve as primary contact between partner/payload engineers.
• Support technical proposals for new missions and opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation and reports.
• Lead technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Communicate across disciplines to resolve risks and challenges.
