Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA invites motivated students to join our Mechanical Engineering Internship. You will work closely with mentors to apply engineering concepts, build and test hardware, and contribute to next-generation spacecraft.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in an Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical, or Mechanical engineering discipline and have at least one semester remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• work closely with a mentor and other employees to apply knowledge and grow skills
• apply engineering concepts to solve real challenges in a fast-paced team
• participate in regular 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress
