Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Level 3 or 4 to support the Mechanical Systems & Design group. You will develop spacecraft structures and mechanical hardware using Creo Parametric, then translate requirements into flight-ready assemblies.

You will lead MGSE development, perform sizing analyses, and create model-based drawings with GD&T per ASME Y14.5. DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is preferred. Competitive salary ranges apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field, with 5+ years of engineering experience or a Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience with Creo Parametric and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Strong leadership and communication to mentor MGSE teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead MGSE development and perform detailed MGSE design using Creo Parametric.
• Coordinate cost and schedule planning for MGSE projects and proposals.
• Provide technical leadership, direction, and mentoring to engineers in MGSE.
• Lead sizing of MGSE through hand calculations and analyses.
• Review drawings for MGSE compliance and communicate with customers and programs.
