Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the Electrical Power Subsystem. The role involves applying electrical principles to improve heritage designs and to assist with analyses and documentation of spacecraft power systems.

The selected candidate will work with design and test teams, performing tests, generating reports, and supporting mission operations post-launch. A high school diploma with related experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 4 years of related Electrical Technician experience.
• Proficiency in electrical measurements (AC/DC, resistance) and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to lift and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Applies electrical principles to adapt or improve heritage designs.
• Prepare and present analysis material for design reviews and customer meetings.
• Analyze spacecraft power avionics, batteries, and solar arrays using standard engineering principles.
• Provide subcontractor technical and project management oversight for delivery of spacecraft.
• Perform technical trades and support development and testing in Integration & Test.
• Support mission operations for post-launch activities.
• Perform voltage drop, energy balance, fuse sizing, and transient analyses.
