Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a technical leader to act as our Electrical Systems and C&DH Subsystem Engineer.

You will design the electrical system, architecture and avionics that control spacecraft functions, manage data flows, store data, receive commands and transmit data to Earth or other satellites. The role requires collaboration across teams and customer-facing responsibilities, with opportunities to lead cost and schedule development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field with relevant experience.
• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• Hands-on experience with flight hardware development and EIDP.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and decompose into hardware/software specs.
• Manage internal/external flight-vehicle electrical interfaces and diagrams.
• Lead CDH subsystem design, integration and verification activities.
• Coordinate with PM, CE, LSE, EPS, I&T and customer counterparts.
• Develop cost estimates and scheduling for CDH programs.
