Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Entry Level Spacecraft Command and Data Handling Network (C&DHN) Engineer for Autonomous Navigation Systems to help develop and support avionics and C&DHN systems for Boeing satellite programs.

Typical duties include requirements flowdown, systems design and analysis, integration, test and verification, and ensuring hardware and software are flight-worthy prior to delivery, with collaboration across subsystems and security disciplines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support development of optimal subsystem designs, performs requirements definition and flowdown.
• Help to create operational concepts and products, develops interface requirements, and perform verification and validation.
• Perform trade studies to meet program requirements.
• Perform analyses to evaluate and optimize total system performance to meet customer operation requirements.
• Resolves technical issues and ensuring the spacecraft and system are flight worthy prior to delivery.
• Develop solutions with cross-functional teams to assure mission success and present those findings to customer and senior management.
• Support Designs trade studies to meet program requirements.
