Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Software Delivery Lead to coordinate software deliveries and operational acceptance for SSC space systems. The role emphasizes hands-on execution, release synchronization, and cross‑team coordination to keep releases aligned with mission needs.

The position focuses on integration across Agile teams, OA authorities, and government leadership to drive continuous delivery while balancing security and deployment constraints.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance eligibility required.
• 8+ years delivering software in DoD or space domain programs.
• Experience coordinating software releases and mission deployments.
• Familiarity with OA processes and mission assurance.

Responsibilities

• Actively coordinate and manage software delivery activities across development, cyber, operations, infrastructure, integration, and DevSecOps teams to support successful operational releases.
• Serve as a primary interface for operational acceptance coordination with CFC, OA representatives, mission operators, and related stakeholders.
• Work directly with Agile development teams to track delivery readiness, dependencies, blockers, and release timelines.
• Coordinate software deliveries across heterogeneous development and operational environments, balancing differing constraints and deployment timelines.
• Help maximize software delivery throughput by identifying bottlenecks and synchronizing dependencies.
• Coordinate operational integration events, release synchronization activities, demonstrations, deployment readiness efforts, and production delivery across organizations.
• Maintain active communication and alignment among SSC, operational users, cyber teams, developers, integrators, and mission partners.
• Identify and drive resolution of delivery, operational integration, or stakeholder issues impacting release execution.
• Develop and maintain schedules, readiness dashboards, Jira workflows, status charts, and operational tracking artifacts.
• Facilitate daily coordination among engineering, DevSecOps, SE&I, cyber, and operational teams to ensure releases remain executable and mission aligned.
• Help development teams navigate Agile delivery practices with operational acceptance requirements and mission assurance expectations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operational delivery and release coordination for more continuous delivery approaches.
