Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks an experienced Software Delivery Lead to coordinate software deliveries and OA activities for SSC space capabilities.

You will work with Agile teams, OA authorities, cyber teams, operators, and leadership to keep releases aligned and executable across multiple environments. The role emphasizes hands-on execution, delivery coordination, and ongoing evolution toward CI/CD and continuous delivery while focusing on operational acceptance and mission

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience supporting software delivery, operational integration, mission operations, release management, or systems delivery activities within DoD environments.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating software releases, operational deployments, or mission delivery activities across multiple technical and stakeholder organizations.
• Strong understanding of operational acceptance (OA) processes and mission assurance activities.
• Experience with operational stakeholders such as CFC, SpOC, SSC, or related mission organizations.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and iterative delivery environments.
• Strong organizational, execution-focused coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Jira and related collaboration or workflow tools to manage delivery tracking and coordination.
• Experience developing schedules, readiness dashboards, status reporting products, and operational tracking artifacts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills interfacing with government and contractor teams.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Leadership: coordinate and manage software delivery across development, cyber, operations, and DevSecOps teams.
• OA Coordination: interface with OA representatives, mission operators, and stakeholders.
• Agile Delivery Execution: track delivery readiness, dependencies, blockers, and release timelines.
• Multi-Environment Coordination: balance constraints across environments and deployment timelines.
• Throughput Optimization: identify bottlenecks and synchronize dependencies to maximize delivery throughput.
• Release Management: coordinate operational integration events and production delivery activities.
• Stakeholder Management: maintain alignment among SSC, users, cyber teams, and developers.
• Issue Resolution & Coordination: drive resolution of delivery or operational issues impacting releases.
• Delivery Tracking & Reporting: maintain schedules, dashboards, and Jira workflows for leadership.
