Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an experienced Software Delivery Lead to support the MSEIT contract at Space Systems Command (SSC). The role focuses on coordinating software deliveries and operational acceptance activities across Agile teams, stakeholders, and mission organizations supporting U.S.

Space Force capabilities. The incumbent works hands-on with development teams, OA authorities, cyber organizations, operational users, and government leadership to ensure releases

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance eligibility or higher
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• 8+ years in software delivery, DoD environment
• Experience coordinating releases across multiple teams
• Strong understanding of OA processes and mission assurance
• Experience with Jira and related workflows
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead software delivery activities across engineering, cyber, operations, and DevSecOps teams
• Coordinate operational acceptance (OA) with SSC, OA representatives, mission operators
• Track delivery readiness and release timelines with Agile teams
• Coordinate across environments balancing constraints and security requirements
• Identify bottlenecks and improve delivery throughput
• Coordinate deployment readiness, demonstrations, and production delivery
• Maintain schedules and dashboards, Jira workflows and status reports
• Facilitate cross-team synchronization for executable releases
• Align Agile delivery with OA requirements
• Identify opportunities to move toward CI/CD delivery
