Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to interpret and apply government customer policies while leading security initiatives. This on-site role is based at the El Segundo facility and focuses on safeguarding information and assets across aerospace systems.

Successful candidates will possess 2+ years in security, TS/SCI clearance, and a CI polygraph; on-site support and RMF implementation are essential parts of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with 2+ years of experience or associate degree with 1+ year.
• Security+ or IAM Level I DOD 8570 certification.
• Provide on-site support for security actions per corporate/government policies and directives.
• US citizenship required to obtain a security clearance.
• Current TS/SCI clearance and ability to be briefed and maintain accesses at the SAP level.
• CI Polygraph within last 7 years or willing to complete the exam on hire.
• 3+ years of experience and in-depth OS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintains information and data regarding end-user issues per policies.
• Reviews, develops, and implements security plans for assets.
• Coordinates and performs information security inspections and tests.
• Supports implementation of organization IT security.
• Ensure security policies and procedures are established and enforced.
• Coordinate and perform inspections and assessments with ISSM.
