Job summary

Amentum seeks an Information System Security Official (ISSO) for a NASA contract in Sunnyvale, CA. The ISSO supports RMF artifacts, develops SSPs, and provides technical cybersecurity guidance across the system lifecycle.

Requirements include an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a BS in cybersecurity and 5+ years of experience, and strong written and verbal communication. Desired: NASA experience, RISCS familiarity, and DoD 8140/8570 Level II certification.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility (U.S. citizenship).
• BS in cybersecurity or related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP) and security documentation.
• Assist ISO/ISSM to keep systems updated and patched per Federal and NASA requirements.
• Support RMF activities and A&A documentation such as POA&M and RISCS artifacts.
• Review security reports and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Evaluate cloud service providers' security posture and enforce controls.
