Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to organize daily operations of multiple spacecraft development programs, including design, development, integration and manufacture of new spacecraft and payloads. The role spans structures, thermodynamics, sensors, electronics, software and systems engineering, enabling mission success and future capabilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years leading or supporting technical projects in a fast-paced environment with project life cycle planning and execution.
• Experience developing project budgets, schedules, and risks.
• Experience balancing resources across multiple projects and tracking scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience working with engineering teams and quickly establishing close working relationships across teams.
• Comfort with ambiguity and motivation to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate schedules, budgets and resources for concurrent projects with staggered deliverables and reporting cycles.
• Integrate project schedules to ensure milestones and delivery requirements are met and stakeholders are informed.
• Collaborate with managers and leads to ensure schedule, cost, and technical deliverables are met and up to date.
• Create reports and records to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
• Draft technical statements of work and contracts for vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors and evaluate performance.
• Assist in developing and delivering technical progress reports, documentation, and presentations.
• Monitor schedule progress and analyze critical path and constraints to determine effects of changes.
• Lead the development of technical proposals for mission opportunities.
• Lead technical teams in developing new technical products and services.
• Develop and manage work breakdown structure, program budget, integrated master schedule, and program risk posture.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
