Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Project Manager to organize daily operations of multiple spacecraft design, development, integration and manufacture programs. You will support structures, thermodynamics, sensors, electronics, software and systems engineering, contributing to missions with significant impact on space and technology.

Note: this position may be filled at multiple levels depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years leading or supporting technical projects in a fast-paced environment with lifecycle planning.
• Experience developing budgets, schedules and risks for multiple programs.
• Ability to balance resources across projects and track scope, schedule, and budget.
• Experience working with engineering teams and building cross-team relationships.
• Comfort with ambiguity and proactive problem solving.
• Ability to lead program plans and schedules for multiple programs concurrently.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate schedules, budgets and resources for concurrent projects.
• Integrate project schedules to meet milestones and keep stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure deliverables are met and up to date.
• Create reports and records to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Develop technical statements of work and contracts for vendors and subcontractors.
• Contribute to technical progress reports, documentation and presentations.
• Monitor progress, analyze critical path and adjust plans as needed.
• Lead development of technical proposals for mission opportunities.
• Lead teams in developing new technical products and services.
• Manage work breakdown structure, program budget, schedule and risk posture.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
