Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Program Manager to oversee major components within a multi-delivery space systems program. You will coordinate concept development, production, integration and testing, and maintain customer communications including program reviews.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of experience in systems or design engineering and program roles, with familiarity in RF/satellite systems and DoD/NASA customer engagements. MS Project/Jira proficiency is valued.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in systems or design engineering and program roles.
• BS in engineering from an accredited university; MS degree preferred.
• Familiarity with RF, communication, or satellite systems.
• Coordinate program requirements across the program lifecycle.
• Thorough understanding of aerospace systems engineering processes from concept to production.
• Experience managing cross-functional and decentralized teams; integrating new technologies.
• CAM, risk management, EVMS, and risk-based assessment experience.
• Experience developing WBS, IMS, and integrated master schedules.
• Experience managing programs with dynamic multi-project interdependencies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Jira.
• Experience working with government customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead program performance and day-to-day execution for major components within a large system or production program.
• Serve as the single point of contact for customer interactions including program reviews.
• Collaborate with all functional organizations to ensure program success using risk-based decisions.
• Establish program baselines (Integrated Master Plans) and resource-loaded schedules; monitor progress.
• Provide inputs to customers and leadership for revenue recognition and estimates; use metrics for data-driven decisions.
• Support standard process improvements across the Space Payloads portfolio.
