Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Buyer/Procurement Specialist to drive strategic purchasing for spaceflight programs. You will manage RFx, cost analyses, and supplier negotiations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of materials and services.

The role emphasizes process improvement, compliance with supply chain standards, and ownership of procurement activities from requisition through payment. A related degree and 0–3 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration orSupply Chain related field.
• 0–3 years of progressive procurement experience.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize program requirements to meet Blue Origin’s needs.
• Adhere to Blue Origin Supply Chain compliance standards and initiatives.
• Prepare and issue RFx, perform cost analysis, and lead negotiations.
• Develop contracting strategies including LTAs and long-range agreements.
• Own the procurement process from requisition to payment and manage suppliers.
• Lead identification, negotiation, and management of strategic supplier agreements.
• Support strategic procurement direction to deliver materials on time and within budget.
