Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Buyer III to support day-to-day tactical purchasing, supplier management, and pricing negotiations across multiple departments. You will prepare RFx documents, conduct price analyses, and lead negotiations to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of tactical experience in procurement / supply chain.
• Interprets and applies company policies, FAR, DFAR, SOX compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven metrics tracking.
• Ability to perform price reasonableness determinations / price analyses.
• Ability to develop negotiation plans for various contracting types.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute program requirements to meet Blue Origin's needs.
• Ensure compliance with Blue Origin Supply Chain and FAR/DFAR standards.
• Prepare and issue RFPs/ RFQs, perform price analyses, and lead negotiations.
• Own the procurement process from requisition to final payment and resolve issues.
• Support strategic direction and ensure on-time, within-budget production material delivery.
