Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Buyer II to drive strategic procurement across blue‑origins supply chain, including scheduling, LTAs and VMI. You’ll lead cost analyses, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of production materials aligned with technical performance.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining strict compliance with FAR/DFAR/SOX guidelines, while continuously improving procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to supply chain management; 3–5+ years (Master's: 3+ years; Bachelor's: 5+ years)
• Experience interpreting FAR, DFAR, SOX compliance and applying company policies

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic procurement solutions and manage day-to-day tactical purchasing for spaceflight systems
• Prioritize program requirements and ensure on-time delivery within budget and meeting technical specs
• Prepare/issue RFIs/RFPs and perform cost analyses; develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations
• Draft and manage long-term agreements (LTAs) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
• Support procurement organization’s strategic direction and improve systems and processes for scalability
