Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership within the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department. You will translate program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis solutions for space, air, and ground systems.
The role requires 8+ years of experience, TS clearance, and strong communication skills. This is an onsite position in Chantilly, VA with competitive benefits and relocation support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related technical field.
- 8+ years of professional engineering or scientific experience in multidisciplinary environments.
- Experience with space domain concepts and C2/killchain concepts.
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively.
- Current Top Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department as a technical authority in your area(s) of expertise.
- Translate program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis solutions.
- Plan, lead, and contribute to technical analysis projects.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a learning environment.
- Travel occasionally as required.
- Develop and deliver presentations and reports.
