Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks engineers with strong systems engineering and MS&A skills to support the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department. You will model, analyze, and present space-enabled mission concepts using in-house tools and industry software.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multidisciplinary settings, experience with simulations, and Python/C++/MATLAB. This 100% onsite role is based in El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, electrical, software) or closely related field.
5+ years of professional engineering/scientific experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
Experience with space operations, simulations, and enterprise architecture resiliency.
Proficiency with Python, C++, or MATLAB.
Experience leading a team to accomplish objectives.

Responsibilities

Represent the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department as a technical authority.
Lead and contribute to technical analysis projects to ensure timely, accurate team deliveries.
Develop and present briefings for program offices and customers.
Mentor junior staff and foster a learning environment.
