SAIC is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer on the Horizon 2 contract to support the Space Force program in El Segundo, CA. The role involves designing and validating simulations, developing analytical models, and integrating them with MBSE tools to guide program decisions and architecture trades.
Qualified candidates have a TS/SCI with Poly eligibility, 14+ years of related experience, and proficiency in MATLAB or similar languages.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/physical sciences with 14+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with LVC simulations and aerospace modeling.
- Proficient in MATLAB and one other programming language.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop or verify simulations and analysis plans for programs.
- Create analytical models to assess system performance.
- Support requirements, CONOPS, and verification with system analysts.
- Identify opportunities to improve system or family of systems.
- Integrate models into enterprise MBSE and defense architectures.
- Quantify performance impacts and sensitivity to CONOPS changes.
- Prepare briefings for Space Force and government personnel.
- Leverage Space Force capabilities and enterprise architecture knowledge.
